On Jan 30/Feb1 ,BSF participated in the 6th SCC Youth Soccer Sixes with a young team from Seraya,Karanagsem.Seraya in the eastern most part of Bali,is one of the driest and poorest areas of Bali with no rice terraces or agriculture,with traditional fishing being the main source of income. The BSF team whilst overawed at being in Singapore,having flown in a plane for the first time,handled themselves well.While they did not win the tournament,this was an experience of a lifetime. On the weekend of March 14 and 15 Bali Sports Foundation will hold the 2nd Bali Beach Games at Mertasari Beach in Sanur. The event aims to bring together different sports and encourage residents and visitors alike to participate for some fun and friendly competition and at the same time help support Disabled Athletes of Bali.
